Three card poker (also known as “poker three” or “tricard poker” is a lot of fun, and it’s a pretty easy game to learn how to play.

The following three card poker tips will help you get started:

Understand that this is a game mostly of luck, not skill.
There’s one simple strategy for this game-fold any hand lower than Q-6-4. This will reduce the house edge to about 3.4%.
3 card poker actually has a lower house edge than its cousins, Caribbean poker and Let It Ride poker.
Don’t resent the Ante bet, even though it’s the best that makes the house edge 3.4% instead of 2.2%.
